Today in Whenua we had to do or ANZAC T-shaped literacy activities above is a picture of my bookmark I made from the book that I am reading I hope you like it. The easiest part for me was colouring in the bookmark because all you have to do is go around your picture and writing. The most difficult part for me was drawing the turtle because I didn't want to mess it up

we are doing ANZAC and I have done 5 important facts of the book it will explain why they were important in the soldiers lives and hope you enjoy it.

The 28th Maori pioneer battalion

we are doing ANZAC history and we have done it about the 28th Maori pioneer

battalion. They were a Maori battalion that served the wars and were one of the best 

bayonet runers. there is a link that will take you to see them training and doing the haka

first WORLD WAR mascots

today we did some ANZAC stuff and one of the activities was to create a book cover for the book that we read and we read a book wot was about first world war mascots and here is ar cover I did it with a buddy and hope you enjoy it.

We made this art because ANZAC day is coming up soon and we wanted to know why we have a dawn parade. We celebrate at dawn because when the ANZACs were on the ship they hit land at dawn as that was their surprise to attack. Sadly the Turks were waiting for them and thousands of ANZACs died no no no.
