The magic tree

Story starter!
The tree was all that remained. A solitary figure, it stood there in defiance of the destruction surrounding it. The bark had begun to peel away, one piece at a time, joining the wreckage of other trees that lay scattered across the scorched earth. This tree was different to the other trees. It contained magic. It contained hope and kindness to all the other trees.
Can you continue the story? What is so different about this tree? What has happened to the other trees around it?
Question time!
What do you think has caused the destruction all around the tree? People because they probably started the fire by an accident of a mach or it is a hot place.
Why has this one tree survived? Because it is so big and magical
If you walked through the portal, what would happen to you? I will be in deep space and suffocate but if I had space gear I would go to Mars and I build a home and probably kill whatever is on mars to get food. I would kill them with my space gun and knife.
What would you see?
If this is a portal to another world, would you go through it or stay on Earth, even if you had no idea what could happen? I would stay on earth, because in deep space you will suffocate
. But if I had my space gear I would go to mars.
Is it good to take risks? No Are some risks riskier than others? Yes, because you could die or hurt others and not go back to the start.
Sentence challenge!
A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between one thing and another.
It may tell you where a thing is in relation to something else. E.g. The green, shining door appeared inside the tree. It may tell you when something is in relation to another event. E.g. The portal would not close until the electrical storm had ended. Can you find any prepositions in your writing? Can you write 3 sentences that contain prepositions?

When I look at the tree I see that there are some dead branches and just colourful leaves.
In the trunk of the tree I see magical stars, the moon so bright and beautiful.
On the ground I just see dead trees all burnt and horrible and all the smoke up in the air.
